OLDER WORKS

These are works created before 2012.  This work relies heavily on the figure.  It represents a period of concept development and practice/experimentation with paint and materials. The transition from working straight from a model or photograph toward incorporating magical realism becomes apparent in this body of work.  As the work progresses, so does the desire to diminish identity within the characters.
