Create Yourself!: Self-Portrait Workshop with ila rose

In this three-day workshop, Ila rose will lead you through exercises, eventually helping you to start your own imaginative self-portrait.

This class is for ALL LEVELS, ALL AGES and ALL PEOPLE.

There is something to be learned for everyone. Come as you are and be gentle with yourself. Examining and drawing the self is challenging but can be extremely liberating if you allow yourself to unfold through the process just as you are. I will help encourage each individual to find your own unique voice and avoid worrying about "perfection." Here are the details:

I will provide:

-paper, drawing and painting supplies, canvases, aprons, etc.

You will need to bring:

-A small hand-held mirror. I will have a couple extra but not enough for everyone in the class.

-Any drawing/painting supplies that you prefer to work with.

-Sketchbook/notepad and pen/pencil to take notes.
